Stanmore Park Alpacas is owned and operated by Esther and Ted Sanders. Located on the Northern end of the Gold Coast just 5kms off Highway exit 38.
We have managed to capture country living between two thriving CBD's of Brisbane and the Gold Coast. The property is located on luscious acreage on the banks of the Albert River.
It was in the year 2000 that our Stanmore Park Stud began from a daughter's absolute love and need to have alpacas. Four wethers came into our lives and the journey began. Nine years later a thriving herd of 50 and a well established and organised Stud.
Because the Alpaca is a cold climate animal we have developed an innovative approach to breeding and managing a fleeced animal in a sub tropical environment. We have included provision for shelters, essential during summer and as protection against wind and rain, breezy paddocks and a shed equipped for shearing and general Vet and animal activities.
Our aim is to breed alpacas using the best genetics in a relaxed environment. In breeding 'Alpacas of Excellence' our commitment is to our animals, products, services and above all clients and colleaugues.
We are" hands on" with our alpacas and encourage visitors to come and learn about these unique, beautiful animals. Appointments are necessary.
